I'm muraling my l'il studio by the sea and I'm going to post the progress. The composition and style are borrowed from Scott Wills’ work on “Samurai Jack.” (Scott Wills is an amazing animation background painter.) In the "old days" students of painting would copy the Masters to learn technique, etc. So this is my personal learning project...painting in the style of an artist I admire. His work is colorful and fun and deceptively simple...a perfect application for a mural project. Here's "phase one" complete...
